Community Safety Night
Girls Revolution hosted a booth during a community Holiday event to educate and inform parents and students on community safety, and pedestrian safety. We partnered with Metro LA and Newton Police Department to host two booths sharing information and giving away prizes. Over 120+ parents and students attended this event.

Love your Community Event
Girls Revolution hosted a Valentine themed event celebrating what students loved about our "hood". We had over 100 students stop by to tell us what they loved most about their community. We were inspired by what some of our peers came up with like "original", "resilient", "family" and more!

Community - Police Advisory Board (CPAB) Meeting
Girls Revolution hosted the very first CPAB meeting held at Clinton Middle School. The event which was held on a Thursday evening (5-7pm) had over 200 individuals attend which proves if we create a space for families and community members to voice their concerns they will show up!!!

Knocking Down the House movie screening
Girls Revolution hosted an after school screening of the movie "Knocking Down the House" as a way to raise awareness of the need for more female political figures! We had over 50 students show up to watch the movie with us!

Girls Build LA Summit:
Girls Revolution helped to facilitate our school's Girls Build LA Summit! We had 100 Clinton student attend and as a bonus Girls Revolution got to attend the VIP breakfast! We got to meet so many amazing women including LA Promise Fund Veronica Melvin, and LAUSD school board member, Monica Garcia!
